National Security Council Ukraine Expert Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman gave the House impeachment panel an ear-full when he went into detail about the Trump-Zelensky call. The transcript of the call the White House released is a doctored version of the actual call, according to Colonel Vindman.

Colonel Vindman was on the Zelensky call so he heard Zelensky call out the name of the Ukraine gas company where Hunter Biden served on the board. But there was no mention Burisma Holdings on Trump’s released transcript. Plus, other important words and phrases, as well as Trump’s claim there were recordings of Joe Biden discussing Ukraine corruption, were not on Trump’s version of the call.

Vindman notified his boss when the call ended. He knew Trump threatened national security. His job is to protect the country, not destroy it, according to Colonel Vindman.

Congressional Republicans tried to paint Vindman as a Ukraine loyalist due to the fact his birth certificate is from the Soviet Union. Vindman moved to the U.S. when he was three. He became a decorated American war hero. But the Republicans tried to downplay his service.

The Trumpians wanted to know if he was the whistleblower, but the Colonel said he didn’t know the identity of the whistleblower. Recent news reports claim Derek Harvey, Nunes top aide plans to expose the whistleblower even though he won’t testify. Other government officials let the panel know the strong-arm tactics Trump used on Zelensky are part of the Trump mobster handbook.

American telecom companies still want to work with Huawei on a 5G platform. Huawei’s CEO Ren Zhengfei offered U.S. telecoms a license to use the company’s 5G platform. But Wilbur Ross told the press Trump still wants to keep Huawei in Limbo until the Chinese sign a trade deal that includes changing the way the Chinese government interacts with its international corporations.

Despite Trump’s ban, more than 40 countries signed and launched 5G networks thanks to Huawei. According to Huawei executive Derrick Sun, thirty more countries will use the company’s 5G platform by 2021. Mr. Sun also said 480 households will have 5G access by 2025.

But the U.S. won’t be a Huawei client as long as Trump keeps pushing the Chinese to change their communistic business laws. Mr. Trump plans to discuss the intellectual property and the spying piece of the trade agreement with President Xi when they meet in Chile in November. Trump also expects Xi to sign off on increasing farm trade during that meeting.
