When you are thinking of putting on a holiday party or one for any special occasion, you don’t have to do it all on your own. Alexa is “standing by” to help you in a number of ways.

* Invite the guests
Ask Alexa to send a message inviting your guests to the upcoming event, and they will be able to send you back a message with an RSVP. * Discover new recipes
If you want to be innovative in your food spread, enable “AllRecipes” in the Amazon Alexa app. You can say, “Alexa, ask AllRecipes for party recipes, side dishes, and dessert ideas,” and your Echo device will give related recipes to view on the screen of your Echo Spot or Echo Show. If your Echo doesn’t have a screen, it can read the recipe to you, print the recipe, or send it to your phone.
* Make your grocery list
Add the recipe ingredients to your list by using the “OurGroceries” skill after you have downloaded the “OurGroceries” app to your Android or iOS device so that you can fully utilize all that it offers. You can also ask Alexa to add items to your list or delete something that you have decided not to use.
* Find party games
Entertain your guests from a choice of fun games, both new as well as traditional ones that will be enjoyable. You can look for a particular game by browsing through the games and trivia skills.
* Task reminders
Alexa can be your personal assistant and remind you of upcoming tasks that have to be coordinated or completed at various times before your party. You just have to say things like, “Alexa, remind me on Friday to pick up the cake at 10:00 a.m.”
Alexa, as your party planner, will help you with all the phases of a celebration that will be enjoyed by not only your guests but also by you, the host. You can relax knowing that everything is ready without undue stress upon you.
