Mr. Trump thinks all the Republicans except for two or three will cover his mobster ass. But Romney said he wants to hear from Bolton, and his friends in the Senate might vote to hear what Mulvaney and Pompeo have to say about Trump’s Zelensky and Biden screwing.
Mr. Trump heard Rudy say Supreme Court Justice John Roberts should dismiss his impeachment, so the Trumpster let his Twitter followers know he thinks Roberts should do him a solid and give him a clean bill of political health. But Mitch McConnell told the press there’s not enough voted to dismiss the impeachment, and Roberts can’t do that, anyway.
Rudy likes it when Trump backs up his mobster mumbo-jumbo. Trump learned how to operate like a mobster when his old lawyer Roy Cohn was above ground. Cohn was the New York mob’s legal eagle. He taught Don Sr. how to screw the legal system years ago.
Congressman Jerry Nadler tried to nail Trump to the legal wall several times when he was a New York state official, but The Donald had enough money and enough connections to evade the law.
When Mr. Trump started a trade war with China, he thought the Chinese would quickly meet his one-sided trade demands. The president tried to intimidate the Chinese with threats and disrespectful comments. Trump banned Huawei last May, and he got Canada to arrest Meng Wanzhou, the CFO of Huawei, so he could use her to put pressure on President Xi.
When the Canadian Mounted Police arrested Meng Wanzhou in December 2018, China arrested two Canadians. Both men sit in a Chinese jail cell waiting for a Canadian court to rule on Meng’s extradition case.
Mr. Trump sent Mike Pompeo to Europe and Asia so he could bad-mouth Huawei’s 5G technology. Bill Barr, Trump’s personal attorney general, told the press Huawei is bad news. And Pompeo made another trip to the U.K. to make sure Boris Johnson throws Huawei to the curb.
But Boris told the press all the Huawei critics need to calm down. Johnson said he’ll use the best 5G technology company, and he doesn’t need help figuring out how to make that happen.
