Android phones are amazing devices that offer a plethora of features and customization options. However, with so many features and options available, it’s easy to miss some of the more hidden or lesser-known features that can improve your experience. Here are some tips and tricks to make your Android phone the most.

Gesture Controls

Gesture controls can make your life much easier by allowing you to perform everyday tasks with just a few simple gestures. For example, you can take a screenshot by swiping your palm across the screen or silence an incoming call by flipping the phone over. To access the gesture controls, go to Settings > Display > Gestures.

To ensure that you don’t accidentally activate gesture control, you can also enable the ” Palm swipe to capture” setting, which requires you to intentionally swipe your palm across the screen to take a screenshot.

Notification Dots

Notification dots are a great way to see what apps have notifications you haven’t yet dealt with. To enable notifications, go to Settings > Notifications > Notification Dots and turn on the setting. Once enabled, a tiny dot will appear in the upper-right corner of apps with notifications. You can then long-press on the app icon to see a preview of the notifications.

If you find notification dots too intrusive, you can also enable the “Badge App icons” setting, which will display a number on the app icon instead of a dot.

Customize Your Quick Settings

The Quick Settings panel is a great way to access common settings and features quickly. It usually includes shortcuts like a flashlight, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. However, you can customize it to better suit your needs. Go to Settings > System > Quick Settings and tap on the “Edit” button.

You can add or remove shortcuts and rearrange them to suit your needs better. For example, you could add a shortcut to the “Do Not Disturb” feature or open the camera.

These are just a few tips and tricks that can help you get more out of your Android phone. Experiment with different settings and features to find the ones that work best for you.
