Apple recently announced that it had removed 181 vaping apps from its store. The company has released a statement explaining why they decided to remove the apps. They said that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has stated that vaping products have been linked to lung injuries and fatalities. They also stated that they are concerned about young people having access to these products.

Apple stated that there were social networks, games and news that contained vaping products. The company has been trying to ban vaping products for several months. In June, Apple stated that they were going to stop promoting vaping products in its store. They also stated that they were not going to add any new vaping products to the store.

Customers who already have the apps on their phone will still be able to use them. They will also be able to transfer the apps to new devices. Apple has teamed up with the American Heart Association and a campaign called Tobacco-Free Kids in order to discourage children from smoking and using vaping products.

Matthew L. Myers is the president of the Tobacco-Free Kids campaign. He stated that if vaping apps are taken from the store, then it will reduce children’s exposure to vaping products. He also stated that companies have a responsibility to make sure that they don’t promote harmful products to children.

A study published in a medical journal called “JAMA” showed that 27.5 percent of high school students have used vaping products. Ten percent of middle school students have used vaping products. Nearly one million students use a vaping product every day.

Not only are there concerns about young people using vaping products, but experts are also concerned about the possibility of a lung injury. There have been over 2,172 lung injuries linked to vaping products.
