Many of the people who were denied access to Disney Plus on its launch day took their anger and frustration out on social media. They posted pics of the error screens that were appearing on their computer monitors and phones. Some people even reported being left on hold for over an hour when they called Disney Plus customer service to resolve their problem. This type of problem should have been expected. It is a service that has a huge demand. There are millions of people trying to access the service at the same time. Something was bound to go wrong.
According to Washington Post, there are many reasons why people want to subscribe to the Disney Plus streaming service. First of all, Disney has many decades of shows and movies to choose from. Their catalog of entertainment is unmatched. Disney is also creating new content that will only be available on Disney Plus. For example, there is a new series set in the Star Wars universe called “The Mandalorian.” It is about a bounty hunter. The series has a very high budget. It is one of the most anticipated shows of 2019. There will also be many shows that have to do with Marvel characters. These will debut next year.
There is no telling when all of the technical issues will be resolved. Disney must have known that the demand for the service would be huge on the first day.
