The 2020 submissions for Europas Awards have currently started. This submission is now back as the eleventh year of recognizing our hottest tech. The programmers in the startups around the European scenes of tech are fully supported by Tech Crunch. The main awards shall take place on 25 June 2020 at London U.K in the evening. The event will occur in the Museum of the Home that was previously recognized as Geoffrey Museum. During morning hours of today, we shall run series, specifically the one called Path founder Workshops. Furthermore, the main objective will be to give Series A and the Late-stage seed the morale for startups. Besides, we will offer practical advice specifically on matters related to scaling up.
At the moment, we are actively investigating top startups which each category holds. At the time, you may choose to appoint a startup, venture funds, or an accelerator. Before selecting, consider the ones that seem deserving of being acknowledged. These will be achieved by considering their achievements in the past 12 months as of 1 January 2019-1 January 2020. To qualify in applying for these startups portions for the award winnings, you are required to be at late stage seed or Series a startup. Besides, if you have been bootstrapped, it is compulsory to generate sustainability in revenues at least of figures around 500,000 pounds in a year. This is applied for the Unicorns that are minted last year, specifically from first January 2019 to first January 2020.
22 categories have been refreshed this year. This is to ensure that we identify the startups that are working mostly in compelling tech fields. The Ag-tech with the food tech has owned their categories this year. Besides, we have considered including the three tech-specific winning awards, which include Hottest Quantum, Hottest Al Startup, and Hottest Block chain.
Revolving into the 11th year of The Europas plus going to a new decade, we consider being very conscious. This is because we only have a minimum of ten years left to reach UN ambitions for Sustainable Developments and its Goals. Besides, we need to be familiar with those startups that are striving to create better sustainability with an equitable future. By reaching this endpoint, we have considered adding the three newest categories that include Hottest Social Innovation, Hottest Sustainability, and the Hottest Green Tech Startups. Remember, any startup working in any industry and can build any sustainable product, or even service is referred to as a Sustainability Tech.
