Microsoft Company, the developer of Xbox video game, has reported that their plans to suggest that it will bring Virtual Reality to their Xbox Consoles has been called off. The corporation proclaimed its modern console in 2016. When they made the announcement, they said that the item would have the ability to convey great-fidelity virtual reality.

Currently, the company reported that it does not have any particular plan of bringing Virtual reality to the Xbox. The great rival to Console, Sony has reported having sold more than a million units of the PlayStation Virtual reality headsets. However, experts say that the Virtual Reality sales have been so slow. Microsoft Company has somehow changed its tactics. It reported that it’s now planning to focus on its mixed reality energies on the Pc. Mike Nicholas, Microsoft’s chief marketing officer for gaming, announced that the company never had any specific plans that were related to the Xbox Console in Virtual Reality or any Mixed Reality technology such as AR.

Nicholas continued to say that the company’s perspective is what has been and will continue to be. What has been being that the PC is probably their best platform to use to immerse Mixed reality and Virtual reality. In the year 2016, Microsoft Company revealed that its Console, which was then nicknamed Project Scorpio was to be developed and make it the highest performing Virtual Reality. The moment that everyone anticipated came to pass. This was after the company launched the Xbox X. It was launched in the year 2017. After Xbox X was revealed, there was no mention of the Virtual Reality. Even at the presentation of the Xbox X, it was never mentioned. The story was just blown away by the wind.

The only original talk that was shared by Microsoft was of how Xbox X would support Virtual Reality. Microsoft made this response to the competitive challenge that was being shown by rival Sony Company. An analyst at HIS Markit, Piers Harding-Rolls reported that Sony made Microsoft seats uncomfortable when they unveiled their PSVR headsets. From that time, Microsoft has launched its broader Window Mixed Reality strategy that is the headset agnostic. Customers have been trying to adopt the Virtual Reality, but the process has been so slow. The process for the PC headsets has also been too slow. Therefore, the tempo for competing with Sony has been less immediate.
