1) Nemo Personal Electronic Organizer


This handheld device was designed by the company GO Technology in Dallas, Texas. The Nemo is a personal electronic organizer that has an alphanumeric keyboard and 16 kilobytes of RAM. It also allows for syncing with other devices like desktop computers to allow data transfer between them using its software called NEMSYS. This device was able to store and access calendars, contacts, and notes.

2) GPX Global Positioning System Receiver

The American government invented the GPS in 1973. While it had its uses, they did not personalize this technology until 1987 when Trimble Navigation Limited made the first handheld global positioning system receiver called the Magellan NAV 1000. This device allowed people to use a small satellite network for navigation and mapping. This device was made in Dallas, Texas, as well as the Magellan NAV 2000 and 3000. These devices allowed for tracking moving objects from vehicles to animals or even people on foot with a built-in data logger, which helped hunters locate their prey faster than ever before. J Stevens Arms and Tool Company invented this fishing reel in 1947, also located in Dallas, Texas. It is a device used to capture fish by pulling the line out of it with minimal effort from its user. Its original design included two-spool sides, allowing one side to fill up while the other is used. This allows for a continuous flow of line out when fishing and is still in use today by millions worldwide. 4) Doctor Pepper

The oldest Dr. Pepper recipe is located in the Old Corner Drug Store Museum, first made as a soda fountain drink on December 12th, 1885, by Charles Alderton of Waco, Texas. The beverage had 23 flavors, and its slogan, “I dreamed I was drinking a glass,” came from him having this dream after trying it. The drink was first called a Waco, then Dr. Pepper, which became one of the oldest soft drinks that Americans know today. The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group makes this soda in Dallas, Texas, Plano, and Moxie-Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. These companies combined makeover fifty flavors for this beverage.
