When you purchase a new iPhone and log in to the App Store or the iTunes Store with your Apple credentials, the services will automatically connect to the store location where your account was first created. However, there are different country version of the App Store that offer a different set of downloadable applications. You can change your App Store country on an iPhone at any time, even if you are not currently located in the new country.

Step 1:

Launch the “Settings” application from your iPhone’s homescreen, which is designated by the gear icon.

Step 2:

Tap on your name at the top of the settings list to view your current iCloud and App Store account information.

Step 3:

Tap on the row labeled “iTunes & App Stores.”

Step 4:

Select the email address that you are currently using for the App Store and then tap the “View Apple ID” option from the dialog box. You may be prompted to enter your password or confirm your fingerprint with Touch ID.

Step 5:

Choose the “Country/Region” row and tap on the “Change Country or Region” button. A list of all supported countries will appear in the next window.

Step 6:

Find the desired App Store country and tap on it. You may be prompted to accept a new privacy policy.

Step 7:

Enter a valid payment option and billing address for the country of choice. Then click “Next” to finalize the App Store country change.

Be aware that App Store or iTunes Store credit may not be available after changing your account’s current country. Application subscriptions and iTunes pre-orders may also be affected by country changes. More information on this process is available through the Apple support site.
