Bob Mueller has a date with Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler on July 17th. Congress has questions for Mueller. Some of the information about the Trump campaign interaction with the Russians during the 2016 election is sketchy and collusion worthy, according to lawmakers. Mueller claims he didn’t have enough evidence to claim collusion. But Adam Schiff thinks Mueller ignored some of Trump’s sketchy interactions with Russians because they were not part of his investigation.

The Democrats on the intelligence and judicial committees hope Mueller will give them more ammunition to bring Trump down. The Republicans on both committees want to discredit Mr. Mueller. Legal experts who know Mueller think Bob won’t sway from his report in front of Congress.

China wants Canada to release the CFO of Huawei Meng Wanzhou. Trump asked Canada to arrest Meng so he could dangle her in front of trade talk negotiators as a bargaining chip. Canada felt the sting of China’s trade might when they stopped buying Canadian canola oil because of Meng’s arrest. And when the Chinese arrested to Canadians living in China, Prime Minister Trudeau knew he was in trouble. China just stopped buying Canadian meat and that move will cost Canada more than $375 million in lost export business this year.
