Joe Biden can taste a victory now that Super Tuesday gave him a victory. Mr. Biden weathered the Trump tweetstorm, as well as the wrath of Republicans, lawyers, and senators who wanted to bring him down during the impeachment trial.

Sanders is slightly behind Biden in terms of delegates. But he can catch and pass him before the July convention. If that happens, Sanders still might have to convince moderate super delegates to win the nomination. Bloomberg dropped out and gave his votes to Joe Biden, according to the Washington Post. Elizabeth Warren is a dead man walking, according to several political analysts. Elizabeth may drop out before the convention.


The 50 basis-point interest rate cut to stimulate the economy came before the scheduled March meeting. The coronavirus continues to erode global Gross Domestic Product growth. Central banks around the world know COVID-19 could trigger a global recession if health officials can’t control the spread. Trump didn’t like the ½% rate cut. The president bad-mouthed Jerry Powell for being an economic party spoiler. Mr. Trump wants Powell to cut interest rates to zero, even though that stimulus didn’t work in Japan or Europe.

Chairman of the Senate Health Committee Lamar Alexander told President Trump and Mike Pence to stop talking about the coronavirus outbreak. The Republican senator said Trump’s information about the spread of COVID-19 confuses people. Alexander also said Mike Pence doesn’t help matters when he doesn’t tell the truth about the number of test kits available and when doctors can use them.

Paul Begala, the political analyst for CNN, thinks Trump will dump Mike Pence and name Nikki Haley, his running mate. Mr. Trump wants to attract more suburban housewife votes. Nikki Haley could help him get those votes. Begala said Trump will make that move during the Democratic National Convention.

Huawei may be in trouble if that 2010 packing list that surfaced recently is the real deal. The packing list proves Huawei violated Iranian sanctions. Hewitt Packard computer parts were on the list. But that news won’t stop the tech company’s 5G expansion plans. According to a company spokesperson, 91 countries around the world sign 5G contracts.

Sweden is not a member of the EU, so the Swiss decided to use Huawei’s 5G technology after doing an in-depth study of the company’s 5G infrastructure. Swiss pharmaceutical and insurance companies, as well as hospitals, use Huawei’s 5G networks. And Huawei has a partnership with a Swiss engineering company.
