Former Congressman Dana Rohrabacher is a Trump supporter. Dana admits he dangled a pardon in front of Julian Assange if he would publically say Russia didn’t hack the DNC Clinton emails. Mr. Rohrabacher said he never talked to Trump, but he did let John Kelly, the chief of staff at the time, know what he told Mr. Assange.

Mr. Kelly never presented the proposal to the president, according to Rohrabacher. Kelly thought granting the WikiLeaks founder a pardon would open up a legal can of worms. Mr. Assange gave the British judge in his case that evidence in order to stop his extradition. The judge agreed to hear the evidence. The U.S. wants to get its hands on Julian for spying, according to the New York Times.

Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Richard Clarida told the press the central bank has its eyes on the coronavirus. World Health Organization officials gave the virus an official name once researchers discover the coronavirus and SARS viruses are from the same species of viruses. The WHO named the virus COVID-19. The virus continues to cripple China’s first-quarter economic growth.

China’s economy grew three times faster than the U.S. economy last year. China’s GDP growth was 6.1% at the end of 2019. Chinese economists claim first-quarter economic growth may only hit 4.5%. Other economists say growth could drop below 4% at the end of March.

The tech sector of China’s economy is still feeling the pressure Mr. Trump continues to exert on Huawei, its premier tech company. Huawei tried to sue Congress for creating a law that blacklists the company. But Congress won the case. That means American tech companies need a license to buy and sell Huawei components. But the Commerce Department doesn’t give those 90-days licenses to many tech companies. The tech sector of the economy remains strong, but Apple said its first-quarter projections are off the table thanks to the coronavirus.

The Democratic debate had an old-fashion call-it-like-it-is tone to it, in Nevada. Bloomberg took the debate stage for the first time, and he felt the wrath of his party members. Bernie Sanders let America know Michael wants to buy the presidency, and Elizabeth Warren painted Bloomberg as a racist during her rant about Mr. Bloomberg’s past actions and statements.

While the Democrats feasted on each other, the president held one of his rallies in Nevada. The president gave his usual performance. He also let the Democrats know wherever they go on the caucus trail, he goes, according to the New York Times.
